My name is Wayne Smith and I was briefly infamous for registering the domain BindiIrwin.Com and giving it to the Irwins after Steve Irwin's tragic death. Must have been a slow news day. As an ex-employee of Australia Zoo I was aware that the domain would soon be gobbled up by entrepreneurial domain hunters as is always the case with celebrity names. Not realising I had already contacted the zoo asking for domain transfer details the Australian Media assumed I was trying to profit from Steve Irwins death myself. The truth is I've never sold a domain in my life. Naturally I find journalists a rather despicable breed of human being now.
