Focusing primarily on construction new build and development projects, this company has a broad geographic reach throughout Australia and an uncompromising attitude toward delivering quality. Currently they have an opportunity in Canberra for a CA with at least 4-5 years contracts experience.
Specifically, you will be looking after the procurement of subcontractors, tender analysis, contract negotiation and the letting of contracts through to final accounts whilst working together with the Project Manager to effectively deliver these projects. You will also be groomed for progression beyond this project.
With a tertiary qualification in construction management or construction economics you will have a great deal of initiative and dedication. A flair for figures and an existing foundation of experience in building industry will be essential as well as at least 3-5 years experience. Ideally you will have gained exposure to sizeable projects with a reputable builder in the past.
