Our client is a Canberra based application development company with a strong team focused working environment.

This well established company are looking for an IT Graduate to join their team either being based in their Canberra office or on site (in Canberra) as member of the team supporting client applications.

With an immediate start, this permanent opportunity is ideal for candidates that have recently completed formal programming training.

Essential criteria:

Formal training/qualification in computing/programming, or almost complete

Be ready and able to learn - our client provides some training and the opportunity to learn so don't expect you to have any previous Notes / Domino skills

Be able to gain a security clearance from the Federal Government (ESSENTIAL).  Therefore you MUST have Australian Citizenship

Our client has applications that integrate to a wide range of systems (SAP, Informix, ESRI GIS, and Oracle) so some experience with these products would be an advantage as would experience in Java and Unix

Other Skills or personal qualities:

You will have an understanding of current web trends

You will have some experience in graphics and have a creative flare

Your written communication skills will be exceptional

You will have previous work experience in a business environment

Experience in Lotus Notes / Domino would be an advantage

You'll be a problem solver

You are keen to learn and achieve great results

You are able to interact and communicate with clients effectively
