Nganampa Health Council is an Aboriginal owned and controlled health organisation operating on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands in the far north west of South Australia. Across this area, Nganampa Health operates nine clinics, a 16 bed aged care respite facility and assorted health related programs including aged care, sexual health, environmental health, health worker training, dental, women's health, male health, children's health and substance abuse prevention.

The health service has a sustained national reputation for best practice clinical services, leading edge collaborative program research and development and for the collection of outcome data as a basis for ongoing evaluation.

About the Opportunity

Nganampa Health Council has a number of exciting opportunities for Remote Area Nurses to join their dedicated teams in South Australia.

Working under the direction of the Clinical Service Manager, these are highly varied roles in which your focus will be to deliver primary health care according to the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual and assist in the early detection and management of chronic illness as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

To be considered for these positions, you must possess a General Nurse Certificate and be registered with the Nurses Board of SA (or be willing to obtain registration). A minimum of three years full time broad based nursing experience is essential and candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound professional background and an ability to manage their own tasks.

Your dedication will be rewarded with an extremely attractive remuneration package in excess of $94,000, negotiable on experience, including generous salary sacrifice options. Other benefits include:
