With an annual turnover of over 100M our client is a leading supplier to the construction industry having a strong presence in the Australian market for over 40 years. Due to an internal restructure, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced self motivated Assistant Management Accountant.
The primary functions of this position is to prepare the monthly reports for the group and specific projects. In this role the main duties will include:
- Preparation of the monthly management packs
- Monthly analytical reports including sales, product, operational and productivity analysis.
- Preparation of the budget and forecasts including variance analysis
- Assisting with the development of the costing system and producing the relevant reports and breakdowns associated
- Monitoring and analysis of KPI’s
Suitable applicants will demonstrate strong practical experience in the management accounting functions, within a large complex environment. Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications and/or be studying toward CPA qualifications. You will be looking for an opportunity to consolidate your experience with a company offering clear-cut career advancement! Experience of a large accounting system such as SAP, JD Edwards or Great Plain would be highly desirable. Experience in the building and construction industry would be advantageous.
