Senior Mechanical HVAC Estimator, join a team and nationally respected HVAC business in Queensland for this key Snr Mechanical Estimating Role.

Primarily focused on pricing work for main contractors (both building and infrastructure projects), the role of Senior Estimator will see you as a key part of a specialist team and developing new business opportunities throughout the region. This role is suited to a Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager that has previous experience in the local building industry coupled with a background in the mentoring of junior staff.

Their business model is based upon partnering with, main contractors and as such they have seen significant repeat business even throughout the recent market downturn. This newly created role for a Senior Estimator is part of the strategic development of their business and its growth throughout 2010 and beyond.

What we're looking for:

8 years experience in Estimating - Mechanical HVAC essential - buildings or infrastructure

Expert skills using MS Excel and commercial estimating packages

Proven business development skills or an aptitude for sales

Previous experience mentoring junior staff is essential

Tertiary qualification in construction or engineering
