Reporting to the IT Support Manager the successful applicant will be part of a team supporting clients across various levels, with issues ranging from PC, Server to LAN and WAN.



In this position you will be responsible for the following:

 

• Verifying Import/Export customs entry compliance
  
   


• Providing quality IT Support throughout the Michael Hill Group (Including Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US)
  
   


• Provide professional customer service by tracking, monitoring and prioritising issues to ensure timely and effective resolution
  
   


• The installation and maintenance of new and existing servers, desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals
  
   

To be successful for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

 

• Formal qualifications in information technology and at least 2 years post graduate experience working in an IT Support environment
  
   


• Excellent communication skills, polite phone manner and a strong focus on customer service
  
   


• Sound experience with Active Directory, MS Exchange 2003, LAN/WAN technologies, automatic OS/application deployment, backup strategies and VOIP
  
   


• Experience in Windows XP desktop and POS support
  
   


• Ability to prioritise and deal with busy, high pressure situations
  
   

Salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience
