The height of the upper shelf is 118 cm, the length is 122 cm, the depth is 50 cm, the highest point at the rear is 142 cm (the serpentine piece), the middle shelf is 62 cm from the floor, the lower shelf is 15 cm off the floor.
The Waiter bears interesting carving on the serpentine rear piece and drawers; also on the front support pieces; it has been suggested that this is possibly French; I personally feel that it is English. I guess oak was available throughout Europe and not just in Britain.
