The Company

Having been established for 100 years my client one of the worlds leading railway signaling companies throughout the world. Offering a wide selection of products and services they are the front runners within signaling. This company is genuinely at the forefront of the industry winning projects throughout the Asia Pacific region employing thousands of employees who working on a variety of assignments that relate to signaling and control systems.

To be successful in your application you will come from a corporate sales background with a vibrant, positive, attitude. In addition, you will receive fantastic training and development that is ongoing including a 3 month induction period incorporating, product training, sales training enabling you the best opportunity to excel in the role.

The Role

  • Develop and win new business.
  • Promote and sell systems to customers in the systems engineering rail control centre and signaling market.
  • Maximise the portfolio of existing clients.
  • Report directly into the Director of Business Development.
  • Liaise with the project management office, customers, stakeholders and influence tender delivery.
    Deliver agreed budget objectives.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to target new markets and maintain market share.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.

The Person

  • Qualifications in Engineering would be desirable.
  • Identify and convert rail business opportunities across the Asia Pacific region
  • A proven background in sales with a minimum of 5 years Business Development experience.
  • Thrive in developing existing markets as well as targeting new markets.
  • Passionate about winning and developing new business.
  • The ability to speak to senior decision makers with confidence.
  • Account Manager.
  • Excellent Relationship building skills.
