Expect A Star Education Services is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated childcare assistant to work full time at a long day care centre based in Clayton. The position available is in the toddlers room. 

The centre has fantastic educational resources and prides itself on a commitment to providing innovative, high quality care. Staff at the centre describe it as being a fun, positive and supportive environment to work in. Professional development is highly encouraged and supported by management.

The room has 15 children, 1 Room Leader and 3 assistants. The position available is full time working 5 days a week on a set shift of 9-5.30. This position not due to start until January 2010.

In order to be considered for this position you will need to have experience and a genuine passion for working with children. You must be enthusiastic, positive, reliable and have excellent references. You will have a warm, caring and loving personality. To apply you must have:  

• Certificate III in Children's Services
• 1+ yrs full time experience working in long day care
• Current First Aid training 
• Current Anaphylaxis training  
• Working with Children's Check
