The Austin Central Sterilizing Services Department (CSSD) has recently been refurbished with the most up to date equipment. The CSSD engages in the decontamination, packaging and sterilizing of reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment for a very busy Operating suite as well as various other departments and wards. We are capable of providing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week by staff that are either on site or on-call.

We are seeking 2 experienced Instrument Technicians to join the team of our busy yet friendly Central Sterilizing Department.
You must be able to:

• work in all areas of sterilizing services; 


• read, write and communicate in English to a level required to perform the job; 


• communicate effectively with all staff, ie: Management, Medical staff, Ancillary and Nursing staff;


• demonstrate commitment to a high level of customer service; 


• offer flexibility with shifts, weekend work and public holidays.
