Our client a large Government Department is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to work with multiple projects. Your previous experience working with Government Departments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
This role needs your ability to work in a team environment using your experience to managing various complex projects within budgets. Your ability to program, organize and cost plan projects together with effective communication skills are also needed to deal with people at all levels.
As the Project Manager with experience in the building industry you will need:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management
- Experience with multiple and complex projects
- Experience with the building of Government Buildings will definitely be an advantage but not essential
- Outstanding people management skills
- Ability to discuss complex problems at all levels
- A proven track record of delivery - time, quality demonstrated cost control of projects
- Communication/customer focus at a high levels
- Design management experience is desirable but not essential - assisting the client to develop design, environment design understanding
- You must be Degree qualified in Architecture, engineering, Quantity Surveying or Building or equivalent appropriate experience
- Sound understanding of OH & S principles and practice and proven track record
