Our client is a distinctive force in the Australian banking market with a strong presence and focus in the W.A Rural community. They are currently looking to appoint a Manager who will be responsible to lead, manage, motivate and develop a team of Rural Relationship Managers and their staff.

• Ensure the team achieve sales targets and budgets by leading and motivating an effective and engaged team.
• Drive the local area marketing plan to raise local brand awareness, identify new or increase business opportunities, gain access to prospects and establish new relationships to win business and provide complete financial solutions.
• Management of sales performance to drive increased sales conversions, including facilitating sales meetings and overseeing the business centre's weekly and monthly sales performance.
• Mentor, train and develop the Relationship Managers and assistants in credit, sales and customer service skills.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring achievement of sales and service objectives whilst maintaining the highest standards of compliance within the applicable legislation and bank policies and procedures.

The person we seek will have a demonstrated track record in the banking industry, either in a leadership or business development capacity. The ideal candidate will have exposure to corporate or commercial lending, and will be able to demonstrate strong people management/ leadership skills.
