Dealing with Australia's largest banks, mutuals and insurance companies, the Deposit Takers & Insurers team handles issues that affect all Australians.

As a member of this specialist team, you will be exposed to a diverse range of high profile matters and will promote and ensure compliance nationally.

If you have significant experience in banking, finance or consumer protection, this could be your opportunity to:

• Manage surveillances, and other compliance based activities to address marketplace problems.
• Assess, report and make recommendations on complex and novel applications for exemption and modifications of the Corporations Act.
• Manage the preparation of reports, papers and submissions to the Commission, responses to Government and correspondence with other peak bodies on a broad range of strategic, legal, policy and technical issues involving the interpretation and implementation of laws administered by ASIC.
• Mentor team members and lead small project teams to encourage appropriate levels of research and/or analysis of issues in order to achieve a high standard of work. You will also lead professional development of staff initiatives as required.
