Centre Manager -Big Growth Opportunity

Sydney Based
Large and Active Asset
Competitive Remuneration

This centre is owned and managed by one of the largest owners, managers and developers of retail space in Australia. The Group owns a portfolio of quality shopping centres and homemaker centres around Australia and is continuously developing and acquiring new assets. As part of this growth plan they are new redeveloping one of there major assets and require an experienced centre manager to join the team.

Working in conjunction with a General Manager the primary focus of the role will be to maximum financial return for the centre, whilst guiding the centre through a redevelopment.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
  • preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasting and annual business plans

  • establish solid relationships with internal management teams and head office and report each quartile on the status of the centre

  • oversee the maintenance of the centre to the highest level of order and repair

  • Tenancy Mixing

  • Maintain united retailer relationships

  • Track market status of the centre and the demographics of it customers

  • Contribute to the marketing and casual leasing strategy

  • Manage tenancy co-ordination

  • Manage the Centre staff (Retail, Marketing, Admin).

  • Co-ordination of development teams

  • Overseeing all aspects of redevelopment relevant to daily centre management.


To be considered for this role you will require previous centre management experience inclusive of team management functionalities. Any interaction with shopping centre development is advantageous but not necessary. Solid communication and financial skills are paramount and formal property qualifications also required.  The ability to manage numerous tasks at one time and managing retailer relationships is also ideal.
