Are you a qualified Communications Technician or have solid commercial experience working in this area? My Perth based client requires multiple Communications Technical Officers to join their existing teams to work on high profile projects.

The successful candidates will be required to assist the Perth and Site based teams to carry out multiple communications & systems projects including technical reviews, factory acceptance testing, site installation, configuration, fault finding and set to work of communications & systems infrastructure.

 

Essential Criteria includes:

• Diploma of Electronics Engineering or equivalent trade qualification and experience;


• Highly motivated with proven history of delivering on commitments;


• Demonstrated skills and working knowledge in Radio Frequency and communication systems installation & fault finding;


• Demonstrated knowledge of DC power systems;


• Good Communications skills;


• Willing to travel to remote locations for site based work; 


• A strong desire to participate in continual improvement of personal skill and company processes;


• A - class drivers license and ability to complete a defensive driving course


• 4+ years experience in a similar role

Desirable

• Austel Licence with Cat5 and Fibre endorsements


• Demonstrated knowledge of Analogue and Digital microwave systems


• Demonstrate knowledge of SDH and PDH systems


• Knowledge of IP Systems
