I just found out that there is a plan to install a captive koala exhibit in a Blue Mountains. shopping centre! Not only is this a total contradiction of the Blue Mountains’ image of promoting wildlife and conservation, the proposed enclosure is to be set up inside a shopping mall to try and encourage more customers.
