I am planning to buy a land and build a house in Lakewood Estate, Pemulwuy, http://www.holroyd.nsw.gov.au/html/eps/dev/pemulwuy/pemulwuy.htm which is near Greystanes. Can anyone tell me please what kind of place is it, once I build a house I’ll be living there for 10-15 years so is it worth living there?? any advice would be welcomed. cheers Crappymate

tech mate, can u elaborate more please about Greystanes. Pemulwuy is a different suburb but close to greystanes. what things u like about that area and what during ur living there..what about good schools,child care etc. thanks
Hi There I am also about to build. Pemulwuy is Greystanes just a new estate. There is a builder called Sett Homes he seems to be the most helpful rather than the project slap up builders. Dont buy a block close to the freeway. There are 2 estates there 1called Lakewood where you can build single storey & 1 called nelsons ridge where you must build double storey. Its a very good area. hope this helps.
Pemulway (pronounced Pem - way) is a housing development near Greystanes with beautiful, affordable homes, close to shops and transport. Highly recommend it. For the person who used to live in Sydney but now doesn't - things can and do change!
NEVER BUILD YOU HOUSE WITH SETT HOMES. I had a very bad experience. Exhorbirant Price and very rude once your money reaches their pocket. I regret going to them. MASTERTON IS THE BEST.
