A unique opportunity exists for an experienced accountant to join a highly successful privately owned group of companies within the property development and contracting sector. This organisation has an excellent reputation for delivery of high quality projects.
This is a broad hands-on role responsible for the management accounting and associated duties of the group, project reporting and cash flows and the supervision of the accounts payable and payroll staff. Additional duties include leasing and financing, management of commercial property investment portfolio, risk management and share portfolio management.
To be eligible for this role you must have:
- An accounting qualification
- Between 10 and 15 years experience with a small to medium sized local organisation
- Experience across the breadth of the finance function, including cash flow management, budgeting, taxation, reporting and planning
- The ability to interpret and communicate financial data to key stakeholders
- Previous experience in the Building and Construction Industry using Cheops software would be advantageous.
