This leading industry body within the financial services sector is seeking to appoint a Senior Policy Advisor to represent their members in the development and management of new and existing industry policy positions through government lobby, public affairs, industry forums and issues management.

The key responsibilities of this role will see you identify relevant consumer issues, prepare policy submissions and lobby government representatives to support industry goals. Working in an issues rich environment you will be responsible for key internal developments and projects working towards defining strategies to help meet industry best practices.

We seek strong applicants with a track record in policy development and research. Your ability to build effective and lasting relationships with key industry stakeholders is essential. Highly analytical in nature, you will have extensive experience in drafting policy documents and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

To be considered for this role you must hold a tertiary qualification in law (not necessarily practicing) or other relevant field.
