Great Goverment Department needs your experience in Building & Maintenance Planning for a period of approximately 3 months. Use your strong administration and time management skills to work closely with the Maintenance Planning Team.
As the Maintenance Scheduler/Facilities Manager your duties will include:
- Taking inbound calls and attending to emails requesting building maintenance
- Processing emails from contractors
- Chasing up and verifying requests prior to processing
- Preventative/remedial Maintenance Planning
- Breakdown Maintenance scheduling
- Operations Planner/Scheduling (Remedial/Breakdown)
- Overseeing maintenance requests to ensure that double ups don't occur
- Issue Work Orders to contractors via Internet
- Manually override Work Orders to process & approve urgent jobs
- Follow up with contractors to ensure jobs completed on due dates
- Assisting the scheduler in filing and chasing up enquiries of job status back to clients
- Other general administration duties as required
As the Building & Maintenance Co-ordinator you will need:
- A trades background in facility management
- Minimum 3 years local experience in a similar position
- Advanced Microsoft Outlook and Office skills are essential
- Strong customer service and liaison skills
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
