Contract role for a good all round Business Intelligence professional with expertise in Business Objects. In this role you will work as part of a large team, responsible for the delivery of organizational reporting and intelligence for the Department. The day to day responsibilities of the role will focus on the delivery of information solutions within the departments reporting environment and will include;
- Report development
- Raw data preparation; high levels of SQL coding
- Technical analysis and design
- Requirement gathering, Business Analysis skills, Understand Business Operations
Some of the essential skills required are:
- Experience in SQL Server RDBMS Development.
- Demonstrated experience in designing & implementing reporting solutions
- Crystal Reports background advantageous
- Informix experience advantageous but nit essential
- Working off raw Data, Must enjoy SQL coding hundreds of rows
- Advanced analysis, design, problem solving and documentation skills
- Business Objects XI
To be successful in this role you must have prior experience within a Business Objects Development role and ideally have a Crystal Reports background. You will have strong SQL, and presentation layer design skills. You must also have experience in data warehouse design and development. Candidates with experience across BI and OLAP will be held in high regard.
