There are a number of exciting career development opportunities for SAP Functional Consultants to join a global consulting organisation on a permanent basis. Working for this organisation will give you the opportunity to develop your consulting and client liaising skills and work on many of the largest SAP projects in Australia and around the world across a wide range of industries.
 
There are opportunities available for professionals to join at both consultant and manager level. Key responsibilities in this position will include taking responsibility for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help clients. Other responsibilities may include: 
  • Supervising process and functional design activities

  • Creating functional requirements as an input to application design

  • Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes

  • Supervising application build, test and deploy activities

  • Planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g. Test data)

  • Driving test planning and execution

Managers will also have the additional responsibility of managing teams of direct reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience consulting on large SAP implementations and the following skills: 
  • Configuration experience with any of the following modules of SAP (FI, CO, MM, SD, HR, BW/BI, SCM, Core Banking (ABAP Objects and LM))

  • We are also looking for candidates with Portals/Netweavers experience

  • Experience working for a Consulting organisation

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Desire to progress into Project Managers and People Managers positions

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

The ideal candidate will also be willing to travel Monday to Friday as part of their role.
