My client is BI specialist delivering data warehousing solutions across a range of industries including health, government, banking and finance, and legal. They have strong partnerships and exciting projects in place and are seeking a Senior Business Objects Consultant to join their growing, successful team.
The successful candidate will have strong technical and functional skills across Business Objects.
Some of the key job functions:
- Develop and present comprehensive project documentation to clients
- Provide successful project performance and follow-up
- Display strong analysis, problem solving and decision making skills
- Meet project timeframes
- Identify and recommend systems improvements
The candidate must have the following skills / experience
- 5+ years Business Objects implementation experience
- Thorough understanding of the Business Objects product suite and architecture
- Proven understanding of Data Warehouse and development cycle
- Business Objects certifications
- Strong development skills across the BO product
- Experience with Crystal Xcelcius
- B.O XI R2 and 3
- Strong BO migration experience/skills
- SQL queries
- Database design
- Proven functional experience and client facing skills
- Experience with related BI tools
- Strong web server experience and application server environments
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
